As a daughter of a professional musician, Liza receives her first violin lessons at the age of six from her mother and other teachers, among which Brunilda Stefani. She graduates in 2007 with first class honours at Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi, in Turin, with Paola Tumeo. By virtue of a De Sono multi-year scholarship, she attends Würzburg Hochschule für Musik and obtains the Master in violin with Professor Sören Uhde..
In 2009 Liza starts studying viola under the lead of Professor Nimrod Guez, whom will have a deep influence on her artistic development.
From 2010 she is the violist of Sorion Quartett, ensemble that studied with Peter Buck, Cuarteto Casals, Heime Müller, Juilliard String Quartett and Vogler Quartett and regularly performs in Germany, Spain and Italy. Liza has broadened her orchestra experience playing with the De Sono Archi ensemble, the Bamberger Symphonikern, Saarländisches Staatstheater, Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, and as Principal Viola of the Osnabrücker Symphonieorchester.
In 2015 Liza graduates and obtains the Master in viola.
Currently she’s a permanent member of the Philharmonisches Orchester Würzburg and she regularly plays with the philarmonic orchestra I Pomeriggi Musicali, in Milan.
